CLASSIC LIMA TOUR

Lima, known as “the City of Kings”, it is the capital of Peru and is home to over 9 million people.
The classic Lima tour takes half a day and tours through modern and ancient Lima, on this tour we visit the Cathedral, the Plaza de Armas, the Convent of San Francisco and more. Morning or Afternoon tours are available.
ITINERARY:
The tour of the Historic Center of Lima will either begin in the morning at 9:00 am or the afternoon at 2.00pm.
Starting in the district of Miraflores, passing through San Isidro and visiting the Palace of Justice, moving on to the Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, Government Palace, Cathedral Basilica, Archbishop's Palace, Municipal Palace and Church Santo Domingo (where you see the tombs of Santa Rosa, San Martín de Porres and San Juan Macías. We will see the balconies of Colonial Lima before we visit the Convent and Church of San Francisco, this place is famous for its catacombs as well as the paintings by Rubens (which are found in the cloister), Zurbarán and Sevillian; all dated from the 16th century.
Onto the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing through the Huaca Pucllana which is the ceremonial and administrative center of the Lima’s culture (built in the 2nd century AD), and then continue through the El Olivar de San Isidro park - named after the olive trees brought from Spain in the fifteenth century.
Ending at the central park of Miraflores and Larcomar, where you will find entertainment as well as a shopping centre, this is also a view point with spectacular panoramic view over the Pacific Ocean. Finishing back where we started.
