LAKE TITICACA FULL DAY

This tour takes us to visit the floating islands of the Uros and the inhabitants of the interior of Lake Titicaca who live on the island of Taquile and learn about their culture and for a short time learn a little about their world. Waldemar Espinoza Soriano mentioned that these islands were inhabited by men from a culture of wisdom and peace who lived near the lake, and when the Aymaras, a tribe originally from northern Argentina, a warrior who invaded their lands, forced these people to take refuge in the middle of the lake, this is an ancient town with different beliefs and social organization, where decisions are not sexist or vice versa, but decisions are made by both men and women.

ITINERARY

• We will start this tour with the pick up of all the participants from the hotel between 6:30 - 6:45 am. And then transfer them to the Port of Lake Titicaca, after passing the control and paying the income, we board our boat, so that at 7:00 am. We can start our trip to the island of the Uros arriving in about thirty minutes, here we will have the explanation of our guide and the locals showing their art based on the Totora Plant of the lake after an hour of being here we leave for the island from Taquile, it is approximately 2 hours and a half of travel in our boat to arrive at our second place of visit, already in the port of Taquile we will have an hour of walking. 12:30 p.m. M. We will have lunch and later with enough time to get to know the island 2:30 pm return to Puno arriving around 5:00 pm.
